Practical Courses and Assessment
BAL regional Training Centres have become the premier operation in the UK for the training and assessment of tilers at all levels. We offer a broad range of innovative courses that provide a solid grounding in the practical and theoretical skills required to become a professional tile fixer. To date, BAL Training Centres have trained over 5000 delegates since their launch in 1992; including tiling apprentices, property developers and trade distributors.
The portfolio of tiling courses available has been tailored to provide the most up-to-date information on tiling products, specification knowledge and application skills. Requests for bespoke training programmes from companies with specific needs and requirements are also considered.

Online E-Learning Module
The 'Importance of Selecting the Right BAL Products' is an on-line 1 hour free flexible course which explains and demonstrates why a staged selection process, from preparation to finishing, along with key practical tips, is essential to a successful tiling installation.
The course covers primers, adhesives, grouts, sealants and more. It includes both pre and post self-assessment testing together with frequent knowledge checks at various stages. On successful completion of the course it will even deliver a formal pass certificate if required!
Perfect for new entrants to the tiling market but also a useful refresher for the those with more experience.
